Every year has blessings and difficulties, as the seasons move in and out.
This winter is alarmingly warm and not much snow, but the beauty is rapturous.
We are all still happy for longer days and Holiday cheer. It seems to be in the air. Each of us, in our own way, need it.
I look out at this view and strangely omit the buildings most of the time. But on this day, at this time of year, the dwellings feel key. We are living here in this amazing place.
We love it, care for it, and protect it, as best we know how. We can share and honor each other and the land–Our animate and inanimate brothers and sisters.
