Some places in the landscape keep calling you back. I lived nearby when I first came to Montana, so I have known about this area for a long time. But it is only in the last few years that I keep wending my way back. I suppose if you observe a place more and more, it stands to reason that you will keep seeing it more clearly. Today, I noticed a small herd of elk nestled among the trees...It is private land which is posted for no hunting. Elk are smart.
These fall days with crisp air and the leaves turned gold and scarlet against the dark conifers are a glistening jewel.
Literally yesterday was overcast and smokey and today the blue sky goes on forever. Everything about it points to an appreciation of the gorgeousness of life.
