I like to paint sitting on the ground whenever possible. It's macro and micro at the same time & the whole world is your table.
I don't really have a studio other than my living room, except the whole world is my studio. These watercolors are so much less invasive then other paint media, I am loving. my time with them. Practical and packable, so easy.
I am sharing the joy of this when I'm teaching and it is the teaching that reminds me that such a fine thing as watercolor is possible.
This was a gorgeous day above Chico, right in the horse path. The trail ride crossed above me four times and now the horses have incorporated folks sitting around painting as just a normal part of life.
