Hours Leading up to Plein Air

In Livingston every year, we have a Plein Air event. The Livingston Center for Art & Culture is the brains behind forty artists coming to paint here.

Today I parked outside The Center and painted the calm before the storm.

I planned to paint the storefront, but the sky had other plans.

The most interesting view was looking down the street towards the mountains. You can see where someone has put up some teepees on the flats outside of town.

Windshields of parked cars on one side and storefronts with fixed overhangs on the other, with a boiling sky. It's our town.

Specifically, right in front of The Livingston Center for Art & Culture.

Let the games begin!
