After several years and 110 oil paintings, I am switching it up a little.
I am adding a watercolor element.
These paintings are 9"x12". They will be shipped, insured, and protected just like the oil paintings.
My River Trip life is progressing. I have been scouting and planning and this painting marks the beginning of the 2024 summer season. We will be doing another overnight trip August 8-11. Look for forthcoming information and instructions for signing up.
In Spring, we get intermittent days whose beauty positively overwhelms. This was one.
The color in the water and the sky was totally surprising to me. I live for that surprise. The geese are pairing off and designating their nesting areas. There was one who seemed interested in me and seemed to follow my progress. I am feeling a strong kinship.
