A number of years ago we had quite a flood in Livingston. To save the low-lying land around our city park we built a berm to protect us from the raging Yellowstone River.
Not only did this allow us a promenade high above the river, but for an artist who is always seeking some linear geometric vista, it gave me the focal solace of an additional line.
With the further sculpting of windrows, there is even more pictorial accentuation.
