Today was our traditional snow day in the spring tradition of one day spring, one day winter. So I took advantage of the weather to paint this tribute that has been in my heart to do for a while.
A downtown hardware store in a small Montana town is a thing we all love. Everyone is working on projects here and most times it is a small part you need. It is the closest we come to the proverbial general store. And Dan does his best to actually have a little bit of everything. Cleaning supplies, paint, gardening tools, light bulbs, of course every manner of screw or nail, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, ladders, an ice cream freezer and a coffee pot.
It's been a while since I've gone in there and not found a bevy of workers hanging around the counter trading stories.
It has become an institution in our town.
Doing business with Dan is truly a pleasure.
