Right Place, Right Time

Sentinel peaks overlook the Yellowstone. Our weather has been balmy of late, yet we have snow in the mountains. The fear of a bad fire season is, for now, somewhat abated.

I think extremely beautiful sunsets might be most prevalent during winter. On this particular evening, you can see the snow-covered peaks are just barely kissed by a pink blush. This is not one of those times when the whole sky is a passionate flash of orange/pink/peach then purple. For me, this moment when the sky is still a brilliant blue with just that touch of pink, is sublime. The scenery we live amidst here in Montana has the ability every day to bring us to our knees.

We live in an oasis.
